Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a shade lightweight and save labour for wiring of a lamp cord by arranging a cone on the inside of the shade to concentrate illuminating light from the lower part of the shade.
CONSTITUTION: A lighting system 10 has a cone 2 arranged on the inside of a shade 1 to concentrate illuminating light like a spotlight from the lower part of the shade 1 by striking the illuminating light against the cone. The light is reflected on the surface of the cone 2 and illuminates the under side of the cone 2. Since a power source and a light source are not arranged in the shade, the shade is made lightweight, and since wiring in a ceiling or a wall is unnecessary, maintenance is made easy.
