To provide an inexpensive shading blade material made of a fiber reinforced resin excellent in shape stability and shading uniformity.
The shading blade material is manufactured by a process for superposing prepreg sheets 1, 2 and 3 containing a thermosetting epoxy resin as a matrix resin and containing unidirectionally arranged fibers one upon another so that fiber arranging directions cross each other at a right angle, a process for arranging at least two films 4 and 5, which use an uncured epoxy resin as a base resin and contain 15-40 wt.% of carbon black so as to bring them into contact with the prepreg sheets 1, 2 and 3 and a process for pressing and heating the prepreg sheets and the films in a superposed state to cure the epoxy resin. The epoxy resin constituting the base resin of the films is diffused throughout the matrix resin of the prepreg sheets and fused to the matrix resin to eliminate the interface of both of them. Carbon black in the base resin is also dispersed in the matrix resin of the prepreg sheets.
