Title:
SHAFT BEARING INCLUDING FIRST AND SECOND FUNCTIONAL ELEMENTS ON TWO DISCRETE FACES
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014172401
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft bearing having first and second functional elements with a large geometrical dimension on two discrete faces, and a method of manufacture which drastically reduces a defective product rate.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a shaft bearing comprises the steps of: forming a ceramic preliminary molded product from ceramic base powder in a binder; forming a green body 27 having an upper face 24 and a bottom face 26 respectively including a first functional element 28 and a second functional element 30 remaining a thickness of the material between the first functional element 28 and the second functional element 30 by compressing the ceramic preliminary molded product using an upper side die and a lower side die; forming a ceramic main body by sintering the green body 27; and connecting the first functional element 28 to the second functional element 30 by forming a penetrating hole in the ceramic main body.
