Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable downsizing, high speed, and long life of a bearing unit by increasing the supporting ridigity of the bearing unit formed by combining a shaft and rolling bearings.
CONSTITUTION: The rolling element 4, and the outer rings 5 of bearings 3, 3 are installed in grooves 6, 6 provided in the outer diameter face of a shaft 2. The shaft 2 is formed of tungsten having Young's modulus higher than that of a material for constituting the bearings to increase the supporting ridigity of the shaft to the bearings.
