Abstract:
PURPOSE:To maintain a balance between the right and left sidesand improve an external appearance by arranging a driven bevel gearing to an end side of a rear wheel hub and arranging a speed change switching device on the other end side. CONSTITUTION:The respective front ends of the right and left arms 6 and 7 are fixed to a crank housing 5. The hub shaft 10a of a rear wheel hub 9 is fixed between the rear plate 6a fixed to the rear end of the left rear arm 6 and the rear housing 8 fixed to the rear end of the right rear arm 7. In the casing 9a of the rear wheel hub 9 is a speed change gear built in. On the inner right side of the rear housing 8 is a driven bevel gearing 16 composed of an output bevel gear 17 and a driven bevel gear secured, and to transmit a rotation to the rear wheel hub 9. A hand brake 22 and a speed change switching device 23 are arranged on the left side of the rear wheel hub 9 and on the outer side thereof respectively. This constitution will maintain balance between the right and left for improving the external appearance.
