Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the whole size to be reduced and to prevent follow-up rotation of an inner ring during fastening of a fastening nut by a method wherein, concerning at least partial section in the direction of the axis of the inner ring an annular section previously formed in enough roundness is flattened to some extent.
CONSTITUTION: An outer ring 2 inserted in the boss 41 of a rotary body 4 is externally engaged in a tapered engaging state with an inner ring 1 externally engaged with a shaft J and a fastening nut 3 is joined in a screwed-in state with the small diameter part of the inner ring 1 to form a shaft fastening tool.
