Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a shaft kiln for melting metal which can perfectly prevent great bars with a plurality of fins can be arranged easily and with good accuracy at a position where they become parallel to each other and are horizontal and further even infiltration of water from a portion which the great bars with fins penetrate.
CONSTITUTION: On one hand, at a position responding to a portion which great bars of a kiln wall 12 that have fins penetrate, a cylindrical portion 42 having a first flange portion 44 at its top edge portion and projecting to a side direction with a predetermined length is set, also on a great bar 26 with fins, a second flange portion 46 responding to the first flange portion 44 is formed. And, the great bars 26 with fins are so arranged as to penetrate the kiln wall 12 through the cylindrical portion 42, and by combining and connecting those first flange portion 44 and second flange portion 46, the great bars 26 with fins are so made as to be fixed on the kiln wall 12.
