Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial pusher to be used for axially pushing an opening end of a pie in hydroform molding of filling processing liquid inside the pipe, and molding the pipe by liquid pressure of it in which reaction received by a piston can be balanced, and in which the device can be composed to be extremely compact. SOLUTION: This axial pusher 1 is provided with the piston 10 abutting on the pipe 3, and a cylinder 20 containing the piston 10 to load pressure in an axial direction to the piston 10. In the cylinder 20, a space 41 partitioned by the cylinder 20 and the piston 10 of which volume is changed as the piston 10 is moved is formed, and in the piston 10, a continuity passage 42 to make the space 41 continuous with the inside of the pipe is formed. By filling the processing liquid in the space 41 and the continuity passage 42, the space 41 functions as a reaction balance chamber to provide drag to reaction from the processing liquid to the piston.
