Abstract:
To provide a shaft sealing mechanism miniaturizable and reducible in manufacturing cost.
This shaft sealing mechanism is constituted to divide an annular space between a rotor 23 and a stator 24 into a high pressure side region and a low pressure side region by an annular sheet group 29A by arranging a plurality of sheets 29 to dispose the annular sheet group 29A in the annular space between the rotor and stator, and fixing the outer peripheral base end side of the sheets to the stator side but not fixing the inner peripheral tip side of the sheets to the peripheral surface of the rotor. The outer peripheral base end side of each sheet is clamp-fixed between a pair of sheet holding flexible rings 51, 52.
