Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a ski pole shaft which has much improved in toughness and is hardly snapped and, if snapped, is not separated at the snapped part but still connected and is safe and further is excellent in fine view.

CONSTITUTION: A ski pole shaft is composed of a straight layer 101S1', an angle layer 101A', a fiber reinforced prepreg layer 1', and a straight layer 101S2'. The fiber reinforced prepreg layer 1' is formed of a fiber reinforced prepreg having a metallic fiber and a different sort of fiber other than a metallic fiber as the reinforcement fiber.
