Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a split shaft supporting member and flange member to a shaft tube by the pressing.
SOLUTION: A pressing method of a shaft tube member consists of a pressing member of the shaft tube member in which a shaft supporting member 12-3 to be set to a movable die of a press is press fitted and fixed to the prescribed position in the shaft tube after a flange member 13-3 whose inner diameter is slightly larger than the outer diameter of a shaft tube 11-3, and the flange member is simultaneously fixed by the press-fit, and the pressing method of the shaft tube member to reduce the press-fit side of the shaft tube, and in this method, no stress concentration is generated different from the conventional method in which a hub, etc., is fixed to the shaft tube by welding.
