Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft or frame of any of a badminton racket, a tennis racket, and a bicycle or a shaft of a golf club or a snowboard that can improve flexibility, while retaining strength.SOLUTION: A shaft 12 includes a cylindrical inner layer 15, and at least one coating layer 16 laminated concentrically about an axis X, provided outside the inner layer 15. At least one layer of the inner layer 15 and the cover layer 16 is a carbon-fiber-reinforced molding including an aligned composite material and a cured resin. The composite material includes a carbon fiber bundle in which a plurality of continuous carbon fibers are aligned; and carbon nanotubes attached to the respective surfaces of the carbon fibers.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
