This shake-out type fishing rod is equipped with a plurality of freely movable guides, and comprises a hollow tube 2 as the top ear rod and the dense-core tube 1 to be jointed to the hollow tube, and one freely movable guide 4 is made to be arranged and fixable at least a part of the rod- connection part including the joint between the hollow tube 2 and the dense-core tube 1. When the top ear rod is bent, the stress loaded thereto is dispersed and there happens no rupture or crack at the joint between both rods and the rod-connection part because the freely movable guide can be arranged and fixed to the rod connection part including the joint.
