Title:
SHAKE PREVENTING DEVICE FOR VIDEO CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05127241
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent noise from being recorded when a video camera is in recording by changing the switching of a holding means for holding an optical correcting means at a prescribed position based on a state whether the video camera is in recording, or not in recording.

CONSTITUTION: When a photographer selects to operate a shake preventing device, or not to operate the device by use of an external switch 55, the result is fetched in a microcomputer 45. An output A1 from a shake detecting means 46 is selected by a target position selecting means 56 as a target position A when it is in operating, meanwhile, the output A0 equivalent to the output of an apex angle sensor 43 corresponding to the parallel state of a variable apex angle prism 41 is selected by the means 56 as the target position A when it is not in operating. The switching of the holding means for holding the optical correcting means at the prescribed position when the shake preventing device is not in operating is changed based on the state whether the video camera is in recording, or not in recording in such a way. Thus, the useless power consumption can be prevented when the shake preventing device is not in operating, and also, the noise can be prevented from being recorded when the video camera is in recording.
