Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a high-performance shampoo which can readily washing off macromolecular substances sticking to hairs and a remover of macromolecular substances from hair.

CONSTITUTION: This shampoo or remover contains an organic solvent in an aqueous medium in an amount of 0.5-50wt.%. The organic solvent is preferably slightly soluble or insoluble in water, e.g. having a solubility of 0g/1-200g/1 at 25°C, ≤45C terpenes, and alcohols, ketones, esters, organic acids, amines, amides, or ethers are used. In addition of the organic acid, a surfactant and water are added in an amount of 5-60 and 20-70wt.%, respectively, when necessary, customary additives are added to give this shampoo. This shampoo and the macromolecular substance remover are useful in the pretreatment for permanent wave setting to efficiently remove high-adsorption molecular substances originating from the hair treatment agent applied to the hair and prevent the reduction in the hair setting performance.
