Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape correcting method of a diecast product, wherein correction is carried out without the breakage by the same level of operation regardless of the volume to be corrected and even when various kind of deformation is recognized in the product.
SOLUTION: A diecast product 2 being composed of a magnesium alloy obtained by die casting is heated to the temperature of 200-350°C where an internal stress of the product 2 can be reduced, and then is cooled to 100°C or less under the condition that a forced deforming force to forcedly deform the product into a regular shape is applied. Thereafter, application of the forced deforming force to the product 2 is released. The application of the forced deforming force is carried out with a correcting tool comprising a lower side member 4 and an upper side member 6 having a lower side nipping member 4b and an upper side nipping member 6b, respectively.
