Abstract:
To derive a shape of an object with good accuracy.SOLUTION: A shape derivation device comprises: an area generation unit for generating a work area composed of a plurality of small areas which are developed into three dimensions; a measured data acquisition unit for acquiring measured data, as needed, which is measured at measurement points of an object by a distance measuring sensor; a data accumulation unit for accumulating statistical data of measurement points in a small area that corresponds to the measured data, on the basis of the measured data of measurement points; and a shape derivation unit for deriving a shape of the object on the basis of the statistical data. The data accumulation unit derives a direction of comparison on the basis of the statistical data, and the shape derivation unit compares the statistical data in the plurality of small areas arrayed in the direction of comparison and identify a small area that corresponds to the surface of the object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
