Abstract:

PURPOSE:To improve shape memory property, chem. resistance, weatherability, etc., by compounding a polyolefin resin with a polycaprolactone resin. CONSTITUTION:The title resin is obtd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin which has an m.p. of 60 deg.C or higher and is a polymer contg. ethylene and/or alpha-olefin polymer portions (e.g., a low-density PE resin) with 1-100 pts.wt. polycaprolactone resin which is a resin obtd. by the ring-opening polymn. of epsilon-caprolactone. A molded item is obtd. by molding this compsn.
