Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide woven or knit fabrics which is inexpensive, excellent in the shape-memory properties and fabricability.
CONSTITUTION: This woven or knit fabric is made of a polyester from the dicarboxylic acid component of aromatic dicarboxylic acids and aliphatic dicarboxylic acids at a molar ratio of 70/30-95/5 and the one or more aliphatic diol components, having 10-60°C glass transition temperature. When this polyester fiber is used as a core for hats or caps, a cushioning material for beds or artificial lawn, the deformation caused, while it is used, can be restored by some operations such as heating.
