Abstract:
To provide a shape recognition device and a shape recognition method which reduce the volume of data indicating a three-dimensional shape.SOLUTION: A shape recognition device 100 includes: a surface information processing section 110 for acquiring section circumferential information indicating section circumferences which are circumferences of sections of an object 200; a control line generation section 120 for generating control lines 250 which penetrate the section circumferences; and a concave-convex determination section 130 which, when an intersection point on one section circumference, which has the smallest number in a sequential order from ends of the control lines 250 among the intersection points of the section circumferences and the control lines 250, comes in an odd-numbered rank, determines the one section circumference as a convex circumference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
