PURPOSE: To enable rapid changeover to another shaped hollow shape material without generation of chip by making a set of gear block and tools connected thereto for working shape capable of sliding transversely to the direction of travelling of band material.

CONSTITUTION: Roll shaped tools 14, 15 for working special shape are driven by a gear block 6 having an output shaft 8. Thereby, hollow shape materials are manufactured from band materials 17, 18. Hereupon, sets 12, 13 of a gear block 6 and tools 14, 15 connected thereto for working special shape are mounted so as to be able to slide transversely (an allow 4) to the direction of travelling of the band materials 17, 18. The sets 12, 13 are mounted on a sliding table 1. Thereby, in an extremely short time, for example, a changeover of manufacture from a hollow shape material of 18 mm width to a hollow shape material of 12 mm width is possible.
