Title:
SHAPE STEEL SHEARING DIE AND POSITIONING METHOD FOR GROOVE BLADE IN THE DIE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3673465
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape steel shearing die and a groove blade positioning method for the die that can produce an appreciable cut surface with the same cutter even if shape steel of the same nominal dimensions has a variation in dimensional accuracy within a tolerance by rolling.
SOLUTION: The shape steel shearing die comprises a fixed blade and a moving blade with respective grooves conformed to the sectional form of shape steel, and shears the shape steel through a slanting movement of the moving blade 8 with respect to the fixed blade. The fixed blade and the moving blade 8 have a structure wherein a mounting frame houses a cutter holder 18, the cutter holder 18 houses groove blades 21 and 22, the groove blades 21 and 22 are divided in two in a web height direction of the shape steel, and the width of portions of the groove corresponding to flange thicknesses is variable to position the two-divided groove blades 21 and 22.
