Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape variable frame of which shape can be changed in response to a telescopic action of a telescopic arm.SOLUTION: A shape variable frame 100 comprises several telescopic arms A, B, C and D arranged to form a frame and a connecting mechanism 30 cooperatively connecting end parts of adjoining arms. Each of the telescopic arms comprises several cross units 20 having two rigid members 21, 22 crossed in X-form rotatably connected through a central connecting shaft 23 and end connecting parts rotatably connecting the end parts of the adjoining cross units. The connecting mechanism comprises: a first bent member rotatably connecting an inner end connecting shaft of adjoining one telescopic arm with the outer end connecting shaft of the other telescopic arm; a second bent member rotatably connecting an outer end part connecting shaft of adjoining one telescopic arm with an inner end connecting shaft of the other telescopic arm; and a bent part connecting shaft for rotatably connecting the first bent member with the second bent member at a crossing part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
