To make it possible to adjust a gap formed between a discharge part for discharging a material and a base part to which the material is discharged, with high accuracy without increasing size and costs.SOLUTION: A shaping device comprises a discharge part for discharging a material, a base part to which the material is discharged, an imaging part for imaging the material discharged to the base part, a width detection part 112 for detecting width of the material discharged to the base part based on image data of the imaged material, and a gap adjustment part 113 for adjusting a gap formed between the discharge part and the base part based on the detected width.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
