To provide a shaping device capable of reducing residual stress caused by sealing, to provide a shaping method of a sealing part, to provide a flat panel display and to provide a method of manufacturing the flat panel display.
The shaping device 1 includes: a placing table for placing a substrate having a sealing part formed on one major surface thereof; a first shaping means disposed facing the placing table; a second shaping means juxtaposed with the first shaping means; a first moving means for changing a relative positional relationship between the placing table and the first and second shaping means in a first direction vertical to the major surface of the substrate; and a second moving means for changing a relative positional relationship between the placing table and the first and second shaping means in a second direction nearly perpendicular to the first direction. The first shaping means includes a projecting first shaping part projecting toward the placing table, and the second shaping means includes a flat second shaping part facing the placing table.
