The whole system and the performance of a memory are maintained by sharing the memory, and individual operating functions are integrated to each processor. The internal demand of a multimedia processor 70 is created into a format optimization processed demand 140 by a demand control device 110 and a format converter 139. The selection of each internal demand by the demand control device is made on the basis of system priority order, and the internal demand is inputted to a priority ranking device 200 after division processing and optimization processing by the format converter. An external demand is individually analyzed and processed for every format conversion adapting device, and converted into a format interchangeable with a specific format in the multimedia processor.
