Abstract:
To provide a sharps disposal assembly for preventing an accident like the unexpected puncture of a syringe needle by an operator.
The sharps disposal assembly has a recessed unwinder portion 18b in a container lid 13. The recess has a vertical wall portion 52 integral with a horizontal platform for locating the bottom wall of a tube holder. Another vertical wall portion 36c depending downwardly from the platform has a width congruent with the nose portion of the tube holder.
