To provide a tool which enables fixing of hands and arms so as to allow patients to move their own hands and arms freely in a space as elaborately made to let them move on their beds as much as possible so that they can touch own hands by themselves--moreover, done in such a manner that relatives of the patients or the like can feel no atmosphere about something binding them and also can check actions of the patients trying to take off dripping tubes or the like.

The body 1 of the shawl is a flat bag comprising a soft sheet- like product, two in separate sheet or doubled. The periphery of the bag is closed entirely, openings 13 for inserting arms are arranged on one side of the bag and openings for hands are arranged on the other side of the bag opposite to it and at positions away from the openings for inserting arms.
