Abstract:
To provide improved shear zones used in non-pneumatic tires, pneumatic tires, and/or other techniques.SOLUTION: A tire shear zone is composed of a first cloth layer extending in a circumferential direction around a tire, a second cloth layer extending in the circumferential direction around the tire, and a spacer layer that is radially interposed between the first cloth layer and the second cloth layer. The first cloth layer and the second cloth layer are each made of multifilament yarn. The spacer layer is made of monofilament yarn.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
