Title:
SHEARED PIEZOELECTRIC ELEMENT OF LAMINATED STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002084008
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To enable to judge the polarized direction using piezoelectric element segments having the same form, to make laminated structure because lead wires can be connected with inner electrodes, to realize effective displacement transfer between an upper layer and a lower layer, and to improve displacement transfer.

In this sheared piezoelectric element 20 of laminated structure, the plural piezoelectric element segments 22 in which polarization is performed in one direction in the surface of a piezoelectric substrate 24, and the whole surface electrodes 26 are formed on both main surfaces are so laminated that the upper layer is inversely polarized to the lower layer. The piezoelectric element segments 22 have the same form, and a notch 28 is formed in a corner of the segment, thereby enabling judgment of polarized direction. Lamination unification is so performed via only adhesive agent layers that the notches are positioned alternately. A lead wire is connected with an electrode exposed by the notch of the piezoelectric element segments 22 which are adjacent in the vertical direction. As a result, a voltage having a prescribed polarity can be applied to each of the eletrodes.
