PURPOSE: To complete a series of shearing and forming operations for long material correctly by employing a simple mechanism by constituting the mechanism so as to cut a long material by shearing into blanks of the predetermined length and forming the blanks with a die and punch into a desired form.

CONSTITUTION: A stationary cutting blade 2 is disposed above a base 1. A movable cutting blade 3 is supported vertically movably on the base 1 for shearing a long material 4 through cooperation with the stationary cutting blade 2. This device is capable of cutting a long material 4 into blanks 4A of the predetermined length, then forming the blanks 4A into a desired shape with a die 6 and a punch 8. The first process for retaining a material with a punch 8 prior to shearing, the second process for cutting the material by operating the movable cutting blade 3 and the third process for forming a blank 4A into a desired form by applying a pressure to the punch 8 are performed successively. Thus a series of operations are performed correctly by means of a simple mechanism.
