To provide a shearing machine for a belt-like metal plate carrying a sheetlike metal plate in a short cut length without lowering a running speed of a rotary shear line, preventing the sheetlike plate from moving or shifting in a width direction on a conveyer, and also linearly carrying the plate in a short cut length.

The shearing machine for the belt-like metal plate cuts the belt-like metal plate 50 by shearing it by a rotary shear 300 and carries the sheetlike metal plate 51 which has been cut by a runout conveyer 400 provided on an exit-side of the rotary shear 300. The machine is equipped with a free pressing roller 10 along a path line of the plate 51 on the runout conveyer 400 above an end of the conveyer 400 in proximity to the exit-side of the rotary shear 300. The free roller 10 is urged to press it toward the path line on the conveyer 400.
