Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily and accurately position a steel bar by forming a fixed blade so as to be provided with a slit between a right and a left fixed cutting blade, and with a recessed section in a shape which is substantially complementary to the shape of the steel bar.
CONSTITUTION: The shearing machine 1 is equipped with a movable cutting blade 10 mounted on the forward end section of a piston rod 58, and with a fixed cutting blade 7 mounted on a jaw 6 integrated with a main body. The fixed cutting blade 7 is furnished with a right and a left fixed cutting blade section 71, and with a slit 72 interposed between the fixed cutting blade sections 71, and the fixed cutting blade sections 71 are provided with recessed sections 73 which are substantially complementary to the outer shape of a steel bar. The slit 72 is faced to a cutting blade section 11 formed at the tip end section of the movable cutting blade 10, is located at a position where the cutting blade section 11 is housed in when the cutting blade section 11 is advanced, and is formed into a chip discharging path communicated with a chip falling hole 62 formed in the jaw 6. Each recessed section 73 of the fixed cutting blade sections 71 is provided in such a way as to support the steel bar at both the sides of the movable cutting blade 10.
