To prevent breakage of a cutting edge for an upper die without applying surface hardening treatment to a steel of the cutting edge and to solve such a problem that a cut burr hardly generated in a product portion.
There is provided a shearing press die 1 which includes: an upper die 2 and a lower die 3 for performing cutting press working on a material 4 to be pressed; and a pair of a cutting edge 21 for an upper die and a cutting edge 31 for a lower die, respectively provided on the upper die and a lower die, for cutting off an unnecessary part UP from a product portion PP by cutting the material to be pressed along a cut planned line. In the shearing press die 1, a shape of a horizontal cut surface 211 of the tip part of the cutting edge for the upper die comprises: a horizontal part 211a; a circular part 211b; and a corner part 211c. The horizontal part 211a first comes in surface contact with the material to be pressed upon performing cutting press working and pressurizes the material to be pressed. The circular part 211b is provided successively to the horizontal part and, next to the horizontal part, comes in surface contact with the material to be pressed and pressurizes the material to be pressed. The corner part 211c is provided successively to the circular part, comes in line contact with the material to be pressed pressurized by the horizontal part and the circular part, and cuts the material to be pressed along the cut planned line. The horizontal part, the circular part and the corner part are arranged so as to be orthogonal to the cut planned line so that the corner part becomes the shoulder part of the cutting edge for the upper die.
