Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress nonuniform stress generated on an outer wall and a footing of a footing caisson to a possible minimum extent.
SOLUTION: As a transverse bulkhead 11 and a reinforcing rib 12 to be provided in the footing caisson 13, a corrugated steel plate forming corrugation from a front surface of the footing caisson 13 to the a rear surface of the same is employed. As a result, local stress caused by negative bending moment generated on the transverse bulkhead or the reinforcing rib due to an out-of- plane load, especially stress on a concrete drawing side, is reduced, and local stress generated on the outer wall and the footing is relaxed, to thereby improve the durability of the caisson.
