Abstract:
To provide a sheath-core conjugate fiber having good intimacy between the sheath and the core, high interfacial strength between the sheath and the core and good intimacy with rubber and the like and realizing high reinforcing effect with compounded to elastomer compositions such as rubber composition, and to provide an elastomer/fiber composite material having high strength and rigidity and reinforced with the sheath-core conjugate fiber.
This sheath-core conjugate fiber comprises a core comprising a thermoplastic resin and a sheath comprising a polyolefin. And the elastomer/ fiber composite material compounded with the sheath-core fiber is provided.
