Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the sheath-core type conjugate fiber excellent in elastic characteristics and release resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The sheath-core type conjugate fiber comprises as a core component a block copolymer comprising isoprene polymer blocks B having a hydrogenation degree of ≥80% and styrenic polymer blocks A, occupying 10-50wt.% of the block copolymer, and a fiber-forming thermoplastic polymer having a difference of ≥1 between its dissolution parameter and the dissolution parameter of the block copolymer as a sheath component, and an olefinic compound is contained in the core component or sheath component in an amount of ≤20wt.% (based on the fiber).
