A sheath junction structure 1 for joining sheath pipes 21 of adjoining segments 2 to each other includes: an outer cylindrical pipe 11 attached to an end of a sheath pipe 21 provided in one segment 2; a rotary seal pipe 12 attached to the outer cylindrical pipe 11; and a pressing plate 13 provided on an end of the other segment 2 side of the rotary seal pipe 12. An outer surface of the outer cylindrical pipe 11 is externally threaded while an inner surface of the rotary seal pipe 12 is internally threaded so that the female thread of the rotary seal pipe 12 is engaged with the male thread of the outer cylindrical pipe 11. The rotary seal pipe 12 moves along the axial direction of the sheath pipe 21 as the rotary seal pipe 12 is rotated, and the pressing plate 13 moves toward an end face of the other segment 2 along with the rotary seal pipe 12.
