Abstract:

To well hold the position of the sheathing of an endoskeleton type robot and disperse the deadweight of the sheathing and facilitate the design change of an internal structure.

The sheathing 1 for an endoskeleton type robot which makes the shape of the robot optional by covering the internal structure 2 having a frame of a shape corresponding to the functions of the robot with a soft material. Pads 1d, 1e and 1f forming at least a part of the section abutting the internal structure 2 are formed of flexible and rigid foam as a material having impact resilience lower than expanded urethane foam which is the material of a wall portion 1a forming the shape of the sheathing 1.
