Abstract:
To distribute a tourmaline mineral around a field crop to be cultivated and produce a sheet for agriculture useful for promoting the growth of plants by including a tourmaline mineral powder in a sheet of paper using a wood pulp as a raw material.
This agricultural sheet is produced by including a tourmaline mineral powder in an amount of at least 1 pt.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. fiber content of the paper using a wood pulp as a raw material therein. The tourmaline mineral powder can be held in the agricultural sheet by a method for internally adding the tourmaline powder to a base paper in a step for preparing a raw material for papermaking, applying the tourmaline powder together with starch to the paper surface with a size press, etc.
