Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which prevents a glued portion of bound sheet bundle from getting thicker than the other portion due to the thickness of glue itself when a plurality of sheets are bound by the gluing.SOLUTION: A sheet binding device includes a gluing part and a control part. The gluing part can selectively glue at least any of a plurality of predetermined regions to be glued that are on sheets to be glued and that are different on each sheet to be glued. The control part causes the gluing part to perform gluing such that the regions to be glued are different between a first sheet and a second sheet different from the first sheet of the plurality of sheets to be bound.
