Abstract:
To achieve formation processing of a saddled-stitched bookbinding booklet in which sleeve pages are added using a configuration of a sheet binding and folding processing apparatus and improve a convenience of the apparatus.SOLUTION: Bulk inner sheets (regular sheets) and a cover sheet (long sheet) longer than the bulk inner sheet (regular sheet) in a transportation direction are mixed, and saddled-stitched processing is subjected to a region of the bulk inner sheets (regular sheets). Then, folding processing is subjected to form sleeve pages in a region where the cover sheet (long sheet) does not overlap the bulk inner sheets (regular sheets). Afterwards, center folding processing is subjected to the region of the bulk inner sheets (regular sheets) to form a saddled-stitched booklet in which the sleeve pages are added.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
