Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet binding process device which shortens a standby time, than before, which is caused by moving of a stapler at the time of binding process.SOLUTION: A sheet binding process device 50 is connected to an image formation device 1 which forms an image on paper. The sheet binding process device 50 includes a movable stapler that binds a paper bundle in which a plurality of sheets of paper are bundled, and a movable stapler moving motor 164 which moves the movable stapler between a first position at which transportation of paper from the image formation device 1 to the movable stapler is not hindered and a second position at which transportation of paper from the image formation device 1 to the movable stapler is not hindered, and a paper bundle that is manually supplied from other than the image formation device 1 is bound. The sheet binding process device 50 lets the movable stapler wait at the second position while the image formation device 1 is not performing image formation.
