Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet binding processing device that efficiently puts each of a stapleless stapler and a staple stapler to proper use at low cost while preventing a sheet material bundle from coming apart.SOLUTION: A sheet binding processing device includes: a stapleless stapler 550 which performs binding processing on a sheet material bundle of sheet materials; and a staple stapler 602 which can performs binding processing on a sheet material bundle of more sheet materials than the stapleless stapler 550. The sheet binding processing device performs binding processing on a first sheet material bundle with the staple stapler 602, and performs binding processing on second and succeeding sheet material bundles with one of the stapleless stapler 550 and staple stapler 602 according to the number of sheet materials of the first sheet material bundle.
