A fabric washing apparatus 1 includes washing parts 11, 12, and 13 for washing a fabric F. In the washing part 11, guide rolls 11b and 11c and tension rollers 11d and 11e are so installed as to support the fabric F in a state that the fabric F is closely stuck to the circumferential face of a supporting roll 11a without any gap. A jetting part 21 equipped with a plurality of jetting nozzles is installed under the supporting roll 11a, so that a washing liquid is jetted just like a water curtain and hit against the supporting surface of the supporting roll 11a. Since the washing liquid is jetted in the state that the fabric F is closely stuck to the supporting surface, washing treatment can be carried out efficiently without vibrating the fabric F.
