PURPOSE: To stabilize paper delivery precision by way of preventing roll-up of a paper top edge by a carrier roller and to prevent adhesion to the roller and yellowing by delivering a sheet between a first roller of an elastic member coated with a low frictional material on its surface and a second roller of a high rigidity material.

CONSTITUTION: A carrier upper roller 6 of an elastic roller is constituted of a core bar 6a, EPDM (rubber) 6b and a silicone coat 6c, and the silicone coat 6c is added in comparison with the conventional rollers. In this way, it is possible to lessen a frictional coefficient of the roller 6 and paper and to thoroughly lessen load resistance against high precision delivery of paper by a carrier lower roller 5, and then it comes to be possible to carry out stable high precision delivery.
