PURPOSE: To stabilize carrying of paper with different paper ream weight in a cut-sheet carrying device of a laser printer by arranging a guide member along a curved shape of a paper guide in a curved carrying path consisting of curved shaped paper guides arranged between a plurality of pairs of carrying rollers.

CONSTITUTION: At paper guides 5 to 7 constituting a carrying path of a curved part of a paper feed part, a sheet state member 17 made of an elastic body is mounted by making both end surfaces adhere to the paper guides 5 and 6. Thus, at the part where the sheet state member 17 is in contact with the paper guide 7, a gap of the curved part becomes 0. By this constitution, when a paper 1 which has been fed into the curved part enters the zone with the gap 0, the sheet member 17 is moved by the thickness of the paper 1 and makes it pass without interfering carrying. By this constitution, a difference in carrying time due to paper ream weight can be reduced.
