Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet collecting apparatus that can, when continuously collecting sheets on a load surface, shorten a movement area of an aligning mechanism that aligns the position of a sheet side, and at the same time guide the sheet from a sheet discharge outlet to the load surface without fail.SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a sheet transport path 12 having a sheet discharge outlet 13; a tray member 15 having a sheet loading surface 15x disposed with a step formed on the downstream side of the sheet discharge outlet; an aligning member 22 having a side edge aligning surface 23 engaging with a side edge of the sheet on the load surface; and shifting means (including a turn shift motor; and a side shift motor) for shifting the position of the aligning member between an aligning position on the load surface and a waiting position above the load surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
