Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out a recording medium in a reusable state when an abnormality of a conveyed recording medium is detected.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device comprises: conveyance rollers 103; a drive control part 201 which controls a motor to rotationally drive at least one of the conveyance rollers 103; a sheet state determination part 207 which detects an abnormality of a conveyed sheet on the basis of a value processed in control of the motor when the sheet is conveyed by the conveyance rollers 103; and an engine control part 31 which controls conveyance of the sheet on the basis of the detection result of the abnormality of the sheet. The sheet conveyance device performs control so as to stop conveyance of the sheet by being in the state where the sheet is held by the roller pair whose nip is released when the device is opened by an opening/closing mechanism in a case where the abnormality of the sheet is detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
