Abstract:
To suppress a support surface from tilting in a sheet conveyance device comprising a feed tray capable of extending and contracting along a width and having the support surface moved up and down, and an image reader.SOLUTION: A feed tray 6 has a base tray 601 and a slide tray 602 supporting sheets, and the slide tray 602 moves along a width to and away from the base tray 601 to extend and contract. The feed tray 6 is provided with a first lifter plate 608 and a second lifter plate 609 which move up and down a support surface 6a. When the width-direction length of the feed tray 6 is a first length, the second lifter plate 609 does not abut on the slide tray 602 and the first lifter plate 608 abuts on the slide tray 602, but when the width-direction length of the feed tray 6 is a second length shorter than the first length, the first lifter plate 608 and second lifter plate 609 both abut on the slide tray 602.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
